Our Story
A home, a place to explore, and the pleasure of welcoming guests.
A place to set out from
Un Riflesso nel Mondo grew out of a wish to share the beauty of the Pistoia Mountains with travellers who appreciate nature, tranquillity and the freedom to explore at their own pace.
Our holiday apartment is in Marliana, among the hills of Tuscany. It offers a welcoming base from which to discover villages, walking trails, historic towns and the landscapes of the surrounding area.
We hope our guests feel at ease here, with a comfortable place to return to after each day's discoveries.
The traveller's home
We chose to accompany the name Un Riflesso nel Mondo with the words La casa del viaggiatore — the traveller's home.
For us, these words express a simple idea: a home where you can pause, rest and set out again, following your own interests and curiosity.
There is no single way to travel. Some people enjoy exploring villages, others prefer walking in nature, while others are looking for a few peaceful days. Each guest brings a different way of experiencing a place, and that is part of the pleasure of travel.
The value of simple things
We believe that the most memorable moments of a holiday are not always the most elaborate ones.
Sometimes they are found in a quiet morning, a conversation after a day out, a book enjoyed in the garden or a few minutes spent among the trees.
These small moments reflect the spirit of Un Riflesso nel Mondo: a place where guests can enjoy their time without feeling the need to fill every hour.
Discovering the area, together
The Pistoia Mountains and the surrounding area are rich in villages, trails, traditions and landscapes worth exploring.
We are still discovering new corners of this region ourselves, and we enjoy sharing what we learn with those who come to stay.
